2008 Cyprus Credit Union Breakfast

One of my amazing New Hires Tommy Fitton

Those Amazing Magna kids. I love you Keithy Poo!
The training and HR magic!

The company I work for is so amazing. Every year those that want to wake up early get to go enjoy breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. It is such a wonderful feeling of christmas cheer and anticipation for the day to come. Everyone gathers together and laughs and eats a delicious meal. What a wonderful thing for a company to do for thier employee's. With times being so hard and getting harder I am so thankful to have the job and friends there that I do. Merry Christmas Cyprus Credit Union! Thanks for all you do for me and our community....

Our Christmas Cake Winner

So we went to the White Family Christmas party on Saturday and they had a cake decorating contest. There were some pretty amazing cakes that came about. We are not the best at these types of things but dang it we tried. We came up with a construction theme of Build Christmas In Your Heart. There are tractors and cranes involved in the building of the tree. Ammon loved it and thought we were the coolest ever. We won the award of wackiest cake. So much fun! Please don't forget to Build Christmas in your heart this year......

Poopy Prizes

So for the past 6 days Ammon has been wearing Big Boy Undapants! This is the most glorious thing that can happen to a mother. Although Ammon is very good at urinating, he is having a very difficult time pooping. He cries and cries the whole time he is on the toilet and says "I can't do it, I'm Scared, my bum is not working, and oh nononono.." So I am a mean mom and won't let him get off the toilet until he pushes out a little nugget. I told him how cool it is when the poo splashes the water. I push with him. I tell him to pretend he is Batman or Spiderman, they are very good pushers... Yet he still cried and screamed and kept asking to get off the potty. So I told him to take deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth. He was so cute when he was deep breathing. Then he calmed down a little. Only to start crying again when he started to push. Dang it! So Brian came in and I asked him to give Ammy a blessing. Ammon was so quiet there on the potty for the entire blessing. After he said that Jesus was going to help him. He pushed one time and sure enough came out a nice poo. He pushed again and the deed was done. What a miracle it was... A small miracle but one none the less. I started to cry. God does listen and helps us in times of need. Even on the potty.
Ammon is still scared of going poop. He has held the poo now for 4 days. I don't know what to do. Any advice???

Oh Edward....

So the Blood Van came to our work today. I have never given blood so I decided to give it a try. It wasn't as bad as I thought. The tech that helped me was super nice. I felt fine until I started to get up..... Then it started, the hot flash, the nausea, the weirdness. They had me put ice packs on my chest and drink tons of water and juice. I started to feel better so I got up. Sure enough the heat waves come back and I started to not feel so good. Anyway after about a half an hour I was allowed to leave the blood wagon. It has been about two hours and I am starting to feel normal. I am glad I did it all in all. It was scary feeling like I was going to pass out, but knowing that someone might live with my amazing blood made it all worth it. I just wish it was Edward who was having my blood......

Vacation To Dad's in St. George

We were really missing Grandma Kim and Grandpa Fry so we decided to hop in the ol Kia and take a trip to St. George. Grandpa wasn't able to make it out for Ammy and Sabes birthday so he decided to have a special birthday celebration at thier house for them both. We got there and Dad had a trip to Zions planned for us. We did a little hike up to Weeping Rock and then went to a 3D Dinosaur show that Ammy loved. We had the kids first ever picnic. It was so beautiful in Zions. I for sure want to go back. We then went back to thier house where a Kim put togther the most wonderful birthday dinner full of Dinosaur magic. Uncle Kip made a Dinosaur Cake that was so stinkin cool. Ammon loved it and still talks about it today. After dinner Grandma and Grandpa brought out the presents. Ammon got Spike the giant dinosuar that walks and does amazing tricks. Sabrie got a horsey she can ride on. They love their toys and especially their grandparents and Kipper. We are so thankful for our wonderful family and the memories that we make with them. I love you guys!

Halloween in Cali

We took Ammy and Sabers trick or treating in my Aunt Cyndi's neighborhood. Holy moly, that was so much fun. She lives in a very well to do area, so the candy that was passed out was incredible! It was such a wonderful feeling to trick or treat in 75 degree weather. I love Halloween in California. Ammy loved trick or treating after a few houses. At first he would cry when someone would say he was cute. Sabrie just hung out in the stroller and jabbered. We held out a bag for her too, of course it was really for the adults. Hehehe. We ended up with so much candy and in the space of one week we had every single piece eaten. What are vacations for????

California dreams 2008

So i am really late in posting this but we went to California on October 30th and came home on the 7th of November. My mom, dad, meg, aaron, brian, ammy, sabers, and me had such an amazing time! The reason we decided to go was to see my beautiful cousin Lauren Jones get married in the San Diego Temple. Then we decided to make a trip of it. We went to Disneyland three days, Universal studios, Seaworld, and Knottsberry Farms. I truly had the time of my life. My kids were so good. They both loved Disneyland so much. Ammy loved the Pirates ride and the Winnie the Pooh ride too! Sabrie just pointed at everything and smiled. I loved every ride. TinkerBell flew over the park during the parade and I cried! So magical. I never wanted to leave. I can't wait for the day when I get to go back. Anyway here are some pics from the events.....

Renewal

So I just got my driver's license renewed. What a pain in the butt. It is also so very sad. They made me take another picture. Goodbye to the sweet 22 year old so pretty and young and skinny. Hello to the mother of two picture. Woah is me.....

She Devil!

Amy, Blake, Brian and I went to a costume party on Friday night at Pauls house. It was so good to see him and the rest of the family. Brian was the hottest She Devil I have ever seen. I couldn't keep my vampire hands off him. Blake was a sexy lady and Amy was a biker chick. We had so much fun. I danced with a hot devil! I love Halloween so much.

London's Birthday

On Saturday we got all dressed up and went to London's Halloween birthday party. She is our niece. It was the cutest party I have ever seen. The kids had such a great time. Ammon was a dragon sharp tooth as he calls it and Sabrie was a fairy. They look so cute in thier costumes. Sabrie started to take more than one step this week. She walked across the living room yesterday. Grandma Fry was there to witness the majesty of Sabrie. I sure love these little goblins.

Sabrie's first birthday

Sabrie has reached the happy age of 1! We are so delighted to have this beautiful baby girl in our lives. She has brought so much joy and love to us. From the moment I first held her in my arms that cold October night I was madly in love. She is such a happy silly girl. She doesn't want to walk yet but she says aw ooo when she drops something now. We had a big birthday bash for her at Grandma Brown's house on Tuesday night. She tore into the cake and pretty much ate it all gone, except for the cake in her hair, lap , face, etc.... Happy Birthday my little angel, my little heart, my baby forever.

Random acts of kindness

So there are some amazing humans out there. Yesterday I was feeling like I didn't want to cook dinner so I decided to go and get Papa Murphy's pizza. I drove out to Lehi to the store and to my surprise it was closed. I am finding out that Utah County pretty much shuts down on Sundays. So then I thought that I could go to Costco and get one of their take and bake pizza's. So I went there. To my surprise they were out of pizza. So I had to go to the food court and order some. The cashier said it would take 10 minutes. So I sat down to do some people watching. I was just staring around and I noticed a man with some roses in his cart. I wondered what he got them for. He walked away and I thought he left the building. Later I saw him walk past me again. And then he came back past me. I thought he left again. A minute later he came from behind me and handed me a single pink rose. He said '' I think you deserve this, have a nice day." Then he just smiled and walked away. I started to cry bawl right there in front of everyone. I couldn't help it. What an angel that man was. I feel overwhelmed in my life right now. Such a simple act, yet it touched me to my soul. I love you, whoever and wherever you are!

Some people!

So a guy came up to me today and started to pat my tummy and said I didn't know you were pregnant again. I couldn't believe it. Not to mention that another man this week mentioned that i looked crappy. And then asked if I was ok. I was... So I guess I look like a crappy pregnant lady. For shame on you dirty men! Didn't your mommies teach you not to do those kinds of things??? I guess it is time for a dang diet and exercise routine. Damn!

I love this family

Bat Girl!!!

A couple of days ago Sabrie brought Ammon's Batman mask to me and then she tried to put it on. I helped her put it on. And when I did, the smile that came to that baby's face was immense. She was in heaven. I took her to the mirror and she started to laugh. I then took her upstairs to show the rest of the family and they would laugh and then she would too! It was so cute. She didn't want to take it off. She is our little super hero girl!

Circus

So on Sunday we went to the circus. It was so much fun. Ammon really loved the horses and motorcycles. Oh and of course the elephants. It was so fun to see both Sabers and Ammon pointing and laughing at all the fun things. After awhile Sabrie started to get bugged and wanted to get down off our laps. We had to keep passing her back and forth. And just when she started to settle down the dang circus ended. Grandma Brown came with us and got the kids thier first taste of cottoncandy. It ended up a little sticky, but so much fun! I am not sure we will go back for a few years but it was a good time.

Cornbelly's

For a fun family outing we went to the delicous IHOP and then to a crazy cornmaze at Thanksgiving Point. Sabrie ate more than I knew was possible to eat for a little one. Ammon was so excited to go to a crazy cornmaze. When we got there it was overflowing with fun activities for the kiddies. They had a fun jumping pillow, a giant blowup dragon you can walk inside of, a cute tractor train, slides, and of course a cornmaze in the shape of David Archuleta. I have always dreamed of being so close to him, hehe. We got really lost and a little irritated after awhile, but it was a real fun time to be walking around with the family. The Walker clan joined us and it was nice to get out and just a have a crazy corny time!
